Rapid Applications for Transport Open Call 2026
Businesses can apply for funding of €60,000 to pilot city-tested urban mobility solutions in RAPTOR 2026 open call.
Funding to help you test urban mobility solutions
RAPTOR is a six‑month pilot programme run by EIT Urban Mobility to help cities quickly test new solutions to real transport and mobility problems. Cities set specific challenges, and start-ups and small businesses propose and trial solutions directly with those cities.
The programme focuses on:
- fast testing of new ideas in real urban settings
- close collaboration between cities and solution providers
- solutions that can be repeated and scaled in other places
In 2026, there are 15 city‑defined mobility challenges. Your proposal must clearly show how your solution will tackle one chosen city challenge within a six‑month project.
Who can apply?
The RAPTOR Open Call 2026 is open to single small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Proposals must be submitted by one legal entity only; consortia are not permitted.
To be eligible, you must:
- meet the EU definition of an SME
- be legally established in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe associated country
- target one RAPTOR 2026 City Challenge
Applicants can apply to multiple city challenges, but only one project can be funded per applicant.
SMEs already selected in the EIT Urban Mobility 2025 RAPTOR Call or 2025 SME Market Expansion Open Call cannot apply again.
Up to 15 projects will be funded with each selected project receiving a fixed lump sum of €60,000. Total funding available is €900,000.
The deadline for applications is 5pm (CET) on Thursday 13 March 2026.
