Vacant to Vibrant scheme for Belfast

Belfast City Council is inviting applications for its citywide Vacant to Vibrant scheme

Belfast City Council's Vacant to Vibrant Capital Grant Scheme aims to bring vacant spaces back into use and support the city's revitalisation.

Grants from £2,500 to £25,000 are available to cover external and internal works, including equipment to make the property fit for use.

Applications open for citywide scheme

Although the city centre funding has now been fully allocated, Belfast City Council is currently inviting applications for its citywide Vacant to Vibrant scheme, for properties outside the city centre boundary. Applications for properties within the city centre boundary will not be accepted.

Applications are welcome from business start-ups, independent retailers, social enterprises, cultural and voluntary organisations and property owners seeking to transform their vacant property.

Grants will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, until all funding is allocated.

Information sessions

Belfast City Council is hosting information sessions where you can find out more about the scheme. The sessions are 'drop-in' and do not need to be booked in advance. They take place from 11am to 3pm each day.
