Small Grants Scheme 2026-27
These grants support environmental improvement projects that make a positive difference in the wider community
The Small Grants Scheme is a partnership between Live Here Love Here, ten local councils and Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
Small Grants supports community-led projects that enhance the local environment, build civic pride, and bring people together.
Grants of £500 to £3,000 are available to support environmental improvement projects that make a positive difference in the wider community.
Eligibility
The Small Grants Scheme supports community groups, schools, not-for-profit organisations, and unconstituted groups to deliver projects that aim to:
- increase civic pride and enhance the quality of local green spaces
- transform underused areas into vibrant, valued community spaces
- improve community health and wellbeing through the enhancement of public spaces
- promote environmentally focused actions and boost local biodiversity
The scheme is open to projects based across ten partner council areas in Northern Ireland.
