InterTradeIreland Go‑2‑Tender sessions help SMEs build skills to win public sector contracts across the island

The Go‑2‑Tender Workshops and Go‑2‑Tender Masterclass Series are InterTradeIreland‑led initiatives designed to support businesses across the island of Ireland to compete more effectively for public sector procurement opportunities.

Go-2-Tender Workshops

The Go‑2‑Tender Workshops, delivered online over two half‑day sessions, provide structured, practical training for organisations that want to develop the skills and confidence needed to bid successfully for public sector tenders.

Led by an experienced tendering consultant, the workshops offer sector‑specific guidance and insights into how the public procurement process works in practice.

These workshops are opportunity‑driven and focus on opening up access to the all‑island public procurement market, which is estimated to be worth €21 billion / £18 billion.

Go-2-Tender Masterclass

The free Go‑2‑Tender Masterclass Series offer short, focused online sessions aimed at SMEs that want to build on existing tendering experience or stay up to date with changes in procurement practice, with a particular emphasis on cross‑border tendering opportunities.

The online masterclasses:

  • are open to all SMEs in Ireland or Northern Ireland
  • cover specialist and niche topics to enhance competitiveness
  • include briefings from public sector buyers on relevant procurement issues

These informal sessions will allow SMEs to listen, interact and learn more about how to win bids – particularly cross-border.
