Safefood for Business covers all aspects of food safety training in short, practical and engaging modules.

This free programme allows businesses to provide and track staff training on-site and award module completion certificates.

The training covers eight key areas and has been designed in a multimedia format to engage the participants with interactive, online modules.  Based on Safefood’s collective experience and the latest research available, the topics include:

  • the importance of food safety
  • food microbiology
  • temperature control
  • personal hygiene
  • cleaning essentials
  • allergens in food
  • pest control
  • hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP)

Learners can complete the full Safefood for Business course (eight modules) and receive a completion certificate. Alternatively, learners can choose individual modules and get a module completion certificate.
