Skills Advancement Grant

Who it is for

This support is available to Invest Northern Ireland clients. To be eligible, you must also meet the following criteria: 

• Turnover: The company's annual turnover is £10.2 million or less.
• Balance sheet total: The company's balance sheet total is £5.1 million or less.
• Number of employees: The company's average number of employees is 50 or less.

Businesses owned by Invest NI staff members are not eligible for Skills support.

Support you can get

Support is available for external training, travel and accommodation costs at 50% grant up to a maximum of £15,000 grant.

The grant is available for 18 months only with no option to extend the offer.

Mandatory, repeat, and routine training are excluded as additionality cannot be determined.
