AgriScale - Accelerating Agritech Manufacturing: Experimental Development
Funding of up to £8 million for UK‑registered businesses to accelerate agritech manufacturing.
This competition opens on 30 March 2026 and closes at 11am on 3 June 2026.
Who it is for
This competition is open to collaborations only.
To lead a collaborative project, your organisation must be a UK-registered business of any size.
To collaborate with the lead, your organisation must be one of the following UK-registered:
- business of any size
- academic institution
- charity
- not-for-profit
- public sector organisation
- research and technology organisation (RTO)
Your project must:
- aim to close technology gaps that prevent products being proven, demonstrated and accepted in end-user conditions
- have total costs of between £1 million and £3 million
- last between six months and 18 months
- start by 1 January 2027
- end by 30 June 2028
Support you can get
This competition aims to support agritech innovators to improve product performance and reliability, and strengthen manufacturing and supply chain capability to achieve production at scale.
You can get funding for your eligible project costs of up to:
- 45% if you are a micro or small organisation
- 35% if you are a medium-sized organisation
- 25% if you are a large organisation
